Multiagent systems for distributed production
Žiačik, Martin ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
Manufacturing companies today face a dynamic environment in which economic, technological, and customer trends are changing rapidly, requiring increased demands for flexibility and agility in production management and planning. The use of multi-agent systems that reflect these demands in their design can be a suitable alternative to traditional centralized production management. In this thesis I discuss the theoretical aspect of this issue and based on the obtained knowledge a model of such decentralized production is proposed. I then verify the suitability of the multi-agent approach to production management on the developed simulator. The outputs of the thesis can form the basis for the deployment of multiagent structures in real production enterprises. Also with the help of such conceptual changes in production, enterprises are moving closer to the modern principles of Industry 4.0.
